Student Research Committee The SUMS Student Research Committee was established in 1993 to promote students’ knowledge, attitudes and practice, and thus pave the way for their participation in scientific and research societies within the country and abroad. This committee is consist of the four sections: Public Society, Research Council, Supervisor and Secretary. The Research, Education and Public Relations units are considered the committee’s administrative units. Carrying out research projects, publishing research reports in prestigious scientific journals and submitting them to meetings and congresses, holding workshops to strengthen and enhance research skills, organizing student research seminars and congresses, and publishing booklets and other publications concerning students' research are among the activities carried out by this committee. To achieve its overall objectives, the committee, through its student and professional members, organizes research workshops on topics such as research methodology, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, PCR methodology and writing funding proposals and abstracts. |
